This blog is the start of my public journal of our adult gap years. I would like to share our sojourn with you and hopefully inspire you to reach for your dreams, whatever they may be; however far away they may seem.
For a long time we have been inspired by the motto #onelifeliveit after filming a funeral for Sean, whose wife had died of breast cancer and left behind her 10 year old son and 2 year old daughter. While this was one of the saddest events I had covered, Dorina’s undefeated spirit motivated me to live life to the full. Sometimes ‘boring’ gets in the way of ‘wow’ and I have to remind myself to live intentionally day by day.
I have many interests, which include walking, cycling, camper-vanning, healthy eating, minimalism; all underpinned by my faith in Jesus Christ as my Saviour.
On reflection, the main and overarching theme will be my love of the countryside and country living.
It is easy to get lost in the mundane even after we have had a reminder like your friend. Your blog seems very worthwhile. I hope you enjoy your time in Blogging 101. http://lilypupslife.wordpress.com/

So far so good. I do have to laugh at myself and how I have honed the art of procrastination.

Thanks George. If I keep this up for 21 days it should become a habit. Hopefully I will get quicker too 😉
